Grown on one of the only volcanic slope vineyards in the area, this bottling is punchy and fresh with strawberry sorbet and mint flavors, yet refined with an elegant balance. Profile
Our 2020 Estate Grenache has aromas of currants, herbs de provence and tobacco. On entry, the palate is rich with flavors of red plum, stewed strawberries and spice with a velvet, slightly smoky finish.
Production Notes
Fermentation: 100% de-stemmed and fermented with native yeast in an open top 1-ton fermenter on skins for 17 days, gently basket pressed
Aging: 25% new French oak on lees for 10 months
Bottled: Without finning or filtering
