Lovely layers of raw meat, black cherry, blueberry and lavender converge on the nose of this blend of 45% Grenache, 33% Mourvèdre and 22% Syrah. A zing of acidity cuts through the gamy and dark purple fruit flavors of the palate, as toasted thyme adds herbal nuance. --Matt Kettmann

Our very first Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre blend! Estate Grenache and Syrah sourced from Islay Hill Estate and Mourvedre from Kimsey Vineyard in Ballard Canyon. This is a delicious wine, perfect for holiday events and parties- smoothie, slightly spiced and peppery and ripe in red fruits.

Production Notes

Fermentation: Cofermented Islay Hill Grenache and Syrah, 100% desteemed. Open top fermentation 100% desteeemd. Mourvedre blended at bottling.
Aging: Aged in French oak; 33% new barrels
Bottled: Without fining or filtering
