96 Points - Wine Enthusiast
There's a bold dark cherry aroma on the nose of this wine at first, and then comes the complex waves of potting soil, peppercorn and damp forest herbs. The palate is zesty and fresh with raspberry flavors that quickly evolve into dense loam, dank herb, stewed mushroom and black pepper flavors. An impressive blend of fruit and earth. -- Matt Kettmann
Profile
With a profile reminiscent of the 2021 vintage, this Pinot Noir leans into the dark forest fruit character of Edna Valley’s cooler pockets. Aromas of tart cherry, lavender, and blackcurrant unfold alongside a touch of vanilla, while the palate is supple yet structured, with a refined depth that sets it apart from its 2022 counterpart.
